Sparkler Sleeves

My family and I love the 4th of July! What's not to love about a holiday that celebrates our wonderful countries Independence while spending it with family, grilling outside and lighting fireworks at night? These sleeves are perfect to put sparklers or glow bracelets in to pass out at your 4th of July celebration!

Putting this together is super easy!

1. Download the file and print it on a thicker card stock.
2. Using scissors cut out the three sleeves per page.
3. Using a razor blade or knife, cut two slits on each sleeve marked by the black line.
4. Add sparklers or glow bracelets.

#BookItForward

Camden loves Kid President and he came across a video where Kid President was asking people to share books they love. Inspired by the notion that we can change the world by sharing stories that matter, #BookItForward asks you to think of a book that inspired you and share it someone else.

If you know Camden, you know he's an avid reader. Every week he adds anywhere from 1-3 books to his collection. Since we don't have the budget to add a library onto our house he decided to #BookItForward with the books he was finished with. He wanted to put labels in the books to explain what #BookItForward was and the rest is history. These labels can be printed on full sheet Avery labels and cut in two or they can be printed on the already separated Avery Shipping Labels #5126.

Camden likes to put his name, who he is booking it forward to and then put our state on the first line.

First Day of School Printables

I can't believe it's almost time for another first day of school! With a family full of school teachers, myself included, we get to celebrate the first day of school for not only for my children but for myself as well. I've seen some cute photo opp ideas on Pinterest with kids holding a "First Day of School" sign so I thought I would give one away as a freebie. If you would like to order a customized set with your school mascot, your kids names or anything else on it please contact us at OurCreativeMess@gmail.com.

Bunny Tails - Free Easter Printable

Easter is a very special holiday to me for all of the obvious reasons, spending time with family and celebrating Jesus' victory over death, but it's also special because it was a holiday close to my grandfather's heart. My grandfather loved everything about Easter, especially creating fun Easter egg hunts for me and my brother. When we got older and felt we were too old to hunt eggs, he turned it into a massive scavenger hunt with fun prizes at the end like chocolate bunnies. One year he even painted a huge rainbow on white butcher paper and buried a sack of pennies under the rainbow! I never need a reason to remember how wonderful my grandfather was, but every Easter it makes me feel that much closer to him because I know he's making scavenger hunts in heaven!

It's in memory of my grandfather, Wilburn Ball, that I give you today's freebie. A printable baggie topper for "bunny tails". I hope you enjoy it!

What you'll need:
  • Marshmallows
  • Snack sized Ziploc baggies
  • Bunny Tails printable file - DOWNLOAD HERE
  • White card stock
  • Stapler or double-sided tape
