First Day of School Printables
I can't believe it's almost time for another first day of school! With a family full of school teachers, myself included, we get to celebrate the first day of school for not only for my children but for myself as well. Bunny Tails - Free Easter Printable
Easter is a very special holiday to me for all of the obvious reasons, spending time with family and celebrating Jesus' victory over death, but it's also special because it was a holiday close to my grandfather's heart. My grandfather loved everything about Easter, especially creating fun Easter egg hunts for me and my brother. When we got older and felt we were too old to hunt eggs, he turned it into a massive scavenger hunt with fun prizes at the end like chocolate bunnies. One year he even painted a huge rainbow on white butcher paper and buried a sack of pennies under the rainbow! I never need a reason to remember how wonderful my grandfather was, but every Easter it makes me feel that much closer to him because I know he's making scavenger hunts in heaven!
It's in memory of my grandfather, Wilburn Ball, that I give you today's freebie. A printable baggie topper for "bunny tails". I hope you enjoy it!

Reindeer Food Printable
We all remember to set out special milk and cookies to keep Santa nourished on his busy night of delivering special gifts to everyone. It is also a special way to say "Thank You" for all he does for children all around the world. But sometimes we forget that Santa doesn't use a modern rocket or jet plane to make those deliveries. He still relies on his trustworthy team of reindeer that every child knows by name. They get tired and hungry, too. So make some special reindeer food for the children at your house to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve night as a special treat to those very special animals.
Reindeer Food Recipe
- 1/2 cup of uncooked oatmeal
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup of red or green (or a mixture of the two) sugar sprinkles
Note: Most reindeer food recipes include glitter, but that is dangerous for the birds that may come in to eat what Santa's reindeers leave behind. So it is important to remember all of God's creatures.

Thanksgiving Food Tent Cards
Thanksgiving is by far one of my favorite times of the year. It marks the beginning of the Christmas season (although these days I think that has been bumped to after Halloween), it's a time that my family spends with each other without the distraction of presents and Santa and of course who can forget about the amazing food? I've been blessed with a picky family, myself being the most picky of those, and so it's not enough for my Aunt to make her famous Sweet Potato Casserole...she has to make one with nuts and one without. Not to mention our dessert options have grown tremendously since the creation of Pinterest (don't even pretend you don't know what I'm talking about). With all of that comes the unending questions of "Which one has the nuts?", "What dessert is this?", "What is in this fruit salad?". Put an end to all of that with these fun and festive Thanksgiving Food Tent cards. Print them out on a color printer, fold them (the backside is not shown in the image below in an attempt to enhance the front side), write your food item and you're ready for dinner!
